The 2025 Montana Herbal Festival will be held at the Gerald W. Marks Exploration Center & Rocky Mountain Gardens

Welcome to the GW Marks Exploration Center and Rocky Mountain Gardens — a hub for scientific discovery, community connection, and education in the heart of the Rocky Mountain West!

The center brings together the innovative programs of the:

• Missoula County Department of Ecology and Extension

• Rocky Mountain Gardens

• Missoula Butterfly House & Insectarium

• and the Missoula Conservation District

Explore the teaching kitchen, wet lab, meeting spaces, and educational gardens, all designed to inspire connection to community, nature, and our shared rural heritage. Parking is located at the intersection of Stephens and South Ave.

10% of Festival Proceeds will be donated to the Rocky Mountain Gardens.
