WE’RE MOVING OUTSIDE!

We are thrilled to be hosting the festival outdoors this year and communing with the land, plants, and waters while we gather. With that said, we want to make sure you come prepared for a full day in the elements! Please check the weather beforehand and plan accordingly.

THINGS TO BRING:

-Camping chair or blanket (We will have a limited number of chairs available for our elders and people with limited mobility who do not wish to carry a chair from place to place.)

-Walking shoes (Whatever that means to you! Expect a good amount of walking on slightly uneven ground throughout the day.)

-Water shoes for a long, shallow creek crossing (This is completely optional. You do not need to cross the creek, and you do not need special shoes to do so. But if you know this is something you will want, please bring them. Please note that our classes involving plant walks may venture across the creek.)

-Sun protection (Outside of the classrooms, there is very little shade near the main festival space, so please come prepared. Sunhat, parasol, sunscreen, etc.)

-Layered clothing (For varying temperatures throughout the day)

-Water bottle (We will have a refilling station.)

-Snacks!

-Picnic lunch (Unless you plan to purchase a lunch ticket)

-Potluck dinner dish (optional–We hope you’ll join us for dinner!)

-Note-taking materials

-Cash for marketplace (optional)

-Handmade Items to sell at the marketplace (optional, see more info below)

-Garment for screenprinting (Want some unique festival swag? We’ll be offering on-site screen-printing during lunch. Bring a t-shirt, bandana, etc. for printing. Cost per print: TBD)

-Instruments, songs, and stories to share around the campfire (If you plan to stick around after the festival — optional)

SCHEDULE

Rooted in our theme: Down & Dirty: Where Plant Medicine Meets Regenerative Land, we’ve crafted an enriching schedule full of hands-on learning and land-based herbalism. If you haven’t checked out the schedule yet, you can find it here

MARKETPLACE

All festival attendees are invited to vend at our casual marketplace this year. You do not need to apply or purchase a booth, but you must be a festival attendee in order to vend.

Marketplace Guidelines:

  1. Handcrafted/cultivated items only please. Ideally herbal or wellness related. No multi-level marketing.

  2. Marketplace hours are from 12:30-2:00 & 5:30-7:00. We ask that you do not sell things outside of these hours.

  3. Vend from a basket, blanket, table, or shade canopy! Whether you have a basket of handcrafted herbal tinctures, a table of propagated plants, or your full vendor set-up with a shade canopy and displays, all are welcome to participate. Go as big or small as you’d like!

  4. UPDATED: Set-up for canopies and larger displays is encouraged from 7:30-8:30am. If you simply have a table or blanket to lay out, feel free to set up at any time during the day. We will have a vendor unload area near our Vendor Circle so you can bring your vehicles closer for loading/unloading. This vehicle unload area will be CLOSED during Opening Circle and Closing Circle. If you are setting up or breaking down during class times, please be mindful of your noise. Please keep in mind that all parking and vending will be in full sun so if you have temperature-sensitive items, please plan accordingly.

  5. A fee of 10% of sales is required to participate in the marketplace. We’ll use the honor system and ask that you pay the appropriate amount at the end of the marketplace. You can do so with cash, check, or an online payment.
